​    Zinc Plated Drop-In Anchor

• Be used only in solid concrete and never used in brick or block
• For indoor dry environments
• Designated diameter equals inside diameter
• National coarse internal threads
• Thread length equals half anchor length
• A setting tool must be used to set the anchor
• One set tool for each diameter
• Minimum embedment depth equals the anchor length
• Diameter of hole in concrete equals outside diameter of anchor
• Coil threaded available in 1/2” and 3/4” diameters

   304/316 Stainless Steel Drop-In Anchor

• Be used only in solid concrete and never used in brick or block
• Designed for outside wet applications and  in caustic atmospheres
• The size refers to the inside diameter or bolt diameter
• Accepts bolts or threaded rod with national coarse threads
• Length of threads is about half the length of the anchor
• One set tool for each diameter
• Minimum depth of embedment is the anchor length
• Can be embedded deeper into concrete

Installation

1. Drill a hole in the base material using the appropriate diameter carbide drill bit as specified in the table. Drill the hole to the specified embedment depth plus 1/8" for flush mounting. Blow the hole clean using compressed air. Overhead installations need not be blown clean.
2. Insert designated anchor into hole. Tap with hammer until flush against surface.
3. Using the designated drop-in setting tool, drive expander plug toward the bottom of the anchor until shoulder of setting tool makes contact with the top of the anchor.
4. Minimum thread engagement should be equal to the nominal diameter of the threaded insert.

 Caution

• The load tables list values based upon results from the most recent testing and may not reflect those in current code reports. Where code jurisdictions apply, consult the current reports for applicable load values.
• Oversized holes will make it difficult to set the anchor and will reduce the anchor's load capacity.
